Changing the Shifter Batteries
Once a year, with heavy use of your ZBike Infinity, you will need to change the batteries in the shifters. You will need to replace them with CR2032 batteries. The steps are as follows:
- Pull back the rubber hood on the shifter until the two screws holding the front part of the shifter are visible.
- Loosen and remove both screws.
- Carefully remove the front part of the shifter.
- Locate the CR2032 battery inside and gently remove it, avoiding sharp objects.
- Insert the new battery, observing the indicated polarity.
- Before reassembling, check functionality: connect the bike to the Zycle app, start a session, and verify that the gears change when pressing the shifters.
- Once confirmed, place the front part of the shifter back in its original position and retighten the two screws.
- Adjust the rubber hood so it covers the shifter completely.
General Maintenance
We recommend keeping your ZBike Infinity in a dry place, with low exposure to humidity, to preserve the life of the metal components.
Remember to thoroughly dry all areas that have gotten wet with sweat or other liquids after each session.
Periodically, check that the screws connecting the leg support bars to the frame are properly tightened. Do the same for the anti-vibration supports.
Additionally, lubricate the cleat engagement area and the pedal threads. Also, check that sweat has not entered the handlebar stem or seatpost; if it has, dry thoroughly and lubricate (avoiding the clamping area). In both cases, we recommend a dry teflon or silicone lubricant.
Check the tightness of the crank arms. If you have a torque wrench, the tightening torque for the crank arm bolts should be 35 Nm. If you do not, please proceed carefully.
Finally, we also recommend that you unplug it from the power outlet when not in use.
