Control the resistance of your Zycle or Smart ZBike roller with a Garmin Edge

First, the Zycle or ZBike roller must be paired to the Garmin Edge device. See >

Once paired, you can use your Garmin Edge to change the resistance on your Zycle manually or change automatically while following a course, activity or training session.

Follow these steps:

Select Menu > Training > ANT+ roller.

Automatic resistance

Select one of the following options so that the resistance is adjusted automatically:

Follow a course to follow a saved course.
Follow an activity to follow a saved course.
Follow a workout to follow a training session based on the power downloaded from your Garmin Connect account.

After selecting a course, an activity or a training session.

Select Go.

Select an activity profile.

Select 🢒 to start the timer.
The roller or ZBike will increase or decrease the resistance based on the height information on the path or course.

Select 🢓 to view the roller screen. (You may have to add this screen, please consult your Garmin manual).

2 Distance travelled or to be travelled
3 Time travelled or to be travelled in relation to distance and time as originally saved for the journey or activity.
